Just a Few More Performances Left of Lone Star Grace
Theatre Workshop of Nantucket has an active month ahead, offering a variety of entertainment, performances, classes, and workshops during July. Tonight, tomorrow, and Saturday, June 28, 29, and 30, are the last three performances of the poignantly funny Lone Star Grace starring Susan McGinnis, Laurel Devaney, Ciaran Byrne, and Susan Beaumont.
Story Time with a Princess, TWN’s program for children, brings favorite tales to life as young participants from the audience get to try their hand at theatre by recreating roles in the stories. Programs last about one hour and are held at 5 p.m. on Sundays: July 3, 10, and 17.

Thursday, July 5 is opening night for Faith Healer, a “darkly lyrical tale about art and unconditional love by Irish playright Brian Friel. Brigham Galleries at 54 Centre Street will host an opening night gathering at 7 p.m.; curtain rises at 8:30 p.m. Faith Healer will be performed Wednesday through Saturday July 5-7, July 11-15, and July 18-21.
Mid-July, TWN begins week-long Children’s Drama Camps and on July 11, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella opens for a three-week run.
