Louderback Exhibit
This Friday, June 15, from 5 to 8 p.m., Round the Horn on Federal Street will host an exhibition of photographs by Peter Louderback entitled Photographic Journey to China.
Louderback took the photographs last fall when he and his wife, Roberta, traveled to China. During their three-week stay, they visited seven different cities. “I spent a lot of time concentrating on people: the women are absolutely beautiful and the children are adorable...there was a haze over the entire country because they burn cornstalks that time of year, but I did get some good scenics at the Stone Forest and the Great Wall,” Louderback explained.
Fifteen of his photos will be hanging for the exhibition and several dozen more will be available for viewing. On Friday evening, Peter will be present to discuss the photos and put them in context of his trip to China.
Round the Horn is open daily at 18 Federal Street.
