30 Years of Creative Spirit

In celebration of his 30th anniversary on Nantucket, designer Don Freedman has filled his spacious shop at 14 Centre Street with new exciting gifts and home accessories perfect to adorn your home or summer cottage.

Freedman’s creative energy is evident everywhere you look.  You can see it in the beautiful ornate bowls, in the brass sculpture and wood carvings, decorative mirrors and boxes, and in the many clocks of all shapes, sizes, and designs.

This season, to his famous selection of clocks, Freedman has added luxurious leather luggage and bags, shining candlesticks, beautifully crafted game boards (cribbage, chess, checkers, and dominoes), exquisite sculpture, and handsome desktop valets and leather-bound classics.

In addition to his many sophisticated designs, he has also introduced a series of whimsical figurines.  Handmade exactly to Freedman's designs and specifications, the figurines come in a variety of styles and bright colorssuch as vibrant green frogs and statuesque bunnies.  These charming tongue-in-cheek figurines "are loving life and laughing at life," he commented — perfect for adding a smile to your day.

Open daily, Freedman’s is one of the island’s most delightful and unusual stores for unique home accessories and gifts.  Stop by this week for his annual Fourth of July Sale.
