Après la Plage

56 UnionBeach days on Nantucket are here:  summer sunshine, salt air, warm sand, and cool surf.  And after the beach, the perfect spot for mid-day refreshment is Après la Plage at Fifty-Six Union.

Long known for fine dining and potent libations in a fun ambiance, the folks at Fifty-Six have opened their lush garden this summer from 2 to 6 pm every day for Après la Plage.  Dress is casual, and you can relax and sip Harpoon on tap or have Allie create for you an “Effen Delicious,” Pirate Rum Afternoon Delight, or their new “Summer Special” cocktail. 

Their Après la Plage menu includes some of the best Clam Chowder on the island, Angus Beef Slider, Shrimp Cocktail, Lobster Salad Roll, Clams or Oysters on the Half Shell, Seared Rare Tuna, and Grilled Naan Pizza.

And apres Après La Plage, you can enjoy dinner at Fifty-Six, served from 5:30 until 10 pm every night.
