Cold Noses & Geronimo's

by Sarah McNamara

Whether strolling through town or playing on the beach, Nantucket is a pet-friendly location, offering plenty of places to explore with your furry friend.  To keep them happy and looking their best, Nantucket offers two great pet shops for all of your pet needs.  Located mid-island, Geronimo’s is  a year-round conventional pet store, with a full line of products and food for your dog, cat, bird, gerbil, or fish.  Owner Jan Jaeger also recently acquired the seasonal downtown pet boutique, Cold Noses, which stocks unique and colorful Nantucket collars, leashes, clothes, plush toys, and whimsical gifts for the pet lover in  your life.

Nantucket collars and leashes in various sizes and styles line the walls at Cold Noses

Feel free to bring your dog with you shopping, and they can pick out their own treats, or be properly sized for a collar or cute Nantucket jacket by the friendly and helpful staff.  On a recent visit to Cold Noses, my dog was wagging her tail at the varied selection of rawhides and the homemade gourmet dog biscuits.
