Inspired by bold colors and playful patterns, Skirtin' Around on Straight
Wharf offers a fun and exciting line of clothing for women of all ages. Their
pieces are comfortable, flattering, and easy
to wear - perfect for slipping into on those
occassions when you want to look polished
and put together but don't feel like fussing
about what to put on. They stock dresses,
tops, shorts, skirts, and coats in patterns
from bright paisleys and lively florals to
classic pinstripes and nautical navys. With
these unique designs, you'll be sure to look
your best this summer on Nantucket.

Lisa Barfuss, owner and designer, started Skirtin' Around over 12 years ago
when she began making skirts for herself
and her close friends, using amazing and
interesting fabrics. Demand quickly increased for her skirts and in 2000 she
and her husband launched Skirtin' Around, which has grown from one good
skirt design into a complete clothing line for women. Today they have five
signature stores on the East Coast, as well as products in over 350 retail
stores worldwide.

Be sure to visit one of the five of their signature stores, located at 2
Straight Wharf, next to Best of the Beach. They are open from 9am to 8pm
seven days a week during the summer season.
