The JOHN F. LOCHTEFELD STUDIO-GALLERY at 4 Fair Street features the fine prints, drawings, paintings and sculptures of John Lochtefeld. Bird s Eye View of Nantucket
You really haven t seen Nantucket until you've seen it from the Tower of the Old North Church, conveniently located at 62 Centre Street, just west of Broad Street. The view is spectacular, even on a cloudy day! From the top of the bell tower, you can see in all directions: a panorama of town, the harbor, moors, hills, beaches, and the ocean. The enclosed 92-step climb has several stopping points for resting and a museum level with historic photographic displays. A visit to the Tower should only take a half-hour, but you re welcome to stay as long as you re enjoying the view.
